Place: Wild Blue Pictures Screening Room, 7026 Old Katy Road, Suite 350 Synopsis: Based on interviews with M.G. personalities, Inside the Octagon, M.G.: 1921 - 1945 is a fascinating account of the pre-war M.G. Car Company from its beginnings in Oxford, England in the early 1920s, through the early 1930s when M.G.s became internationally famous for their record-breaking "baby cars", and to World War II when the factory was turned over to wartime production. The film uses archival photographs, newsreel footage from the 1930s, and current footage of pre-war M.G.s. to craft a superbly researched examination of the beginning of one of the great British sports car manufacturers of all time. 96 minutes See a gallery of pictures about MG (opens new window) (Reviews) Raves: Viewer Response: |
